He made the denial in the light of reactions that have trailed the disqualification of the housemate and social media users flocking to his social media pages to remind him of his promise. In a trending video, where Okoye denied making the promise, Mr P as he is now known said he never promised to give her the money, but rather, he would help her to make the money. He, however, said that if anyone has any evidence of the moment he made the promise, he would give the person, N10 million. Published   Woman sells her three kids for N500,000, blames hardship Michael Nnamdi  A 25-year-old woman, Blessing Stephen, has confessed to trading all her three kids for N500,000. Stephen was a member of a child trafficking syndicate recently smashed by operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team. Other arrested members of the syndicate are a self-acclaimed doctor, Una Godwin 58; Blessing John 27; Israel Ariyo 33; Itoro Anthony; 40 and Mforbong Ntoro, 48. The operatives had launched a manhunt for one of the suspects, John, who abandoned a four-year-old boy in a church in the Ketu area of the state. John was said to have abducted the boy, Ojo, at Ikota Housing Estate in Ajah sometime July 2019 and sold him in Akwa Ibom State to Ntoro for N350,000. Naira Marley To Resume Trial Next Month In Court, To Face 7 Years In Jail If Found Guilty

Naira Marley’s fraud trial with the Economic Financial & Crimes Commission would resume next month. The singer was released on the 14th of June, 2019, exactly 14 days after he was granted bail by the Ikoyi High court, after being arrested by the EFCC alongside Zlatan and three other guys in connection with cybercrime. The trial, however, resumes in a month time as Naira Marley needs to answer to all charges levelled against him by the anti-graft commission. EFCC levelled an 11-count charge against Naira Marley. The alleged crimes were in contravention of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act, which the artiste risks seven years in jail if found guilty. The charges with suit number FHC/L/178C/19 were filed before a Lagos State High Court. 10 days after his arrest, Naira Marley was arraigned before Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.
